A knee-length skirt in dark fabric with large pink and purple flowers, with a gathered elasticated waist, hanging on a hanger.

Floral elasticated skirt

Classes

This skirt started as a length of fabric covered in big, bold pink and purple flowers. By the end of a beginner class it had a comfy elasticated waist and was ready to wear. Our beginner classes start with easy, satisfying projects like this one, then build up step by step to dresses, tracksuits and more advanced pieces. No experience needed, just a bit of enthusiasm.

An embroidered brown elephant with white tusks standing in green grass on khaki fabric, above the words Dzombo 1935 - 1985 in script.

Dzombo, 1935 to 1985

Projects

A custom tribute piece for Dzombo, one of the Kruger Park's legendary big tuskers. He's stitched in rich browns with ivory tusks, standing in a tuft of grass on khaki fabric, with his name and years in flowing script below. Custom embroidery lets you stitch a memory into something you can keep, whether it's a favourite animal, a family name, a special date or a club or business logo. Bring us the idea and we'll digitise it and stitch it for you.

Pig tea towel

Projects

A happy pink pig with rosy cheeks, standing on a little patch of grass on a white and maroon checked tea towel. It's part of our embroidered kitchen crew, the kind of gift that gets used every day and raises a smile every time. Add a name or a date and it's theirs alone.

Two towels, one charcoal and one stone-coloured, each embroidered with the same sketch-style elephant and calves, in white thread on the charcoal towel and black thread on the stone towel.

Elephant herd towels

Projects

One elephant family design, two moods: soft white thread on a charcoal towel and crisp black line work on a stone one. The fine, sketch-like detail makes them look hand-drawn. Embroidered towels can make a guest bathroom feel like a bush lodge, and they make a lovely wedding or new-home gift. We can match the design and thread colour to any towel and add names or initials.
